Research Opportunity: Hands free walker
Do any of your students currently or have previously used a hands-free support walker? Are you curious about to potential educational benefits from such a device?
As a school-based physical therapist for over a decade, I've seen hands free devices provide a level of independence and freedom for my students. Yet there is limited research out there since such a small population uses these devices.
I'd love to give you the opportunity to participate in a research project conducted by The Bridge School to gather information on the use of hands-free support walkers with children with complex speech and physical impairments.
I encourage you to grab your favorite beverage, put on some relaxing music and take about 20 minutes to contribute your knowledge and expertise before the survey closes on February 15, 2023. Your feedback is critical and will help us develop research articles and presentations that inform the field of our findings and identify areas of need in the use of mobility devices.
As always, your participation is voluntary and your responses are anonymous. You may withdraw at any time simply by not completing the survey.
You can access the survey at https://redcap.link/zh9helvu.
